Details: An especially rare and sought after poster in its original form, and incredibly difficult to locate even as a reproduction. This poster has been photographed and is now reproduced in full colour, at A3 size. It is considered a 'must have' for any collector or enthusiast of Magic and Magic history.

Item: 1 number (ONE poster supplied ) "Maskelyne & Cooke, Egyptian Hall: Zoe, Psycho" poster: Modern reproduction {NOT an original poster!}. A poster which promoted performances at The Egyptian Hall at the latter part of the 19th century, probably 1878.

Size: PAPER: A3 sized = 297mm x 420mm or 11.7 inches x 16.5 inches] IMAGE: 290mm x 413mm or 11 inches x 16  inches approx.

Materials: 100 GMS matte poster paper [Neusiedler], coated and treated. Details are vividly reproduced on this type of paper and are perfect for framing and hanging.

Condition: Mint condition. New manufacture, unused.

Description:

This poster is a reproduction of an near end of the 19th century poster which depicts the performances and appearances [and wonders of] Zoe and Psycho, the automatons of Maskelyne and Cooke.

As can be seen the poster features the wording "Maskelyne & Cooke, Egyptian Hall: Zoe, Psycho" as well as other performance, venue and acts details as standard on such posters.

Maskelyne and Cooke will always be known, amongst other great illusions, for creating Zoe, Psycho and Labial, the automatons.

The poster is a high quality reproduction using professional, high-end equipment for digital printing which results in a print with colours that have a glossy finish and appearance.

The poster will reflect the condition of the original and in places that may mean odd marks and shadows, etc. The original item features some age related marks, flecks and scratches that the passage of time inflicts upon very sensitive and NON-technologically advanced materials. This does not make our reproduction any the less rare and sought after though, nor poor quality- it is merely to state that what minor mark or blemish is present upon the original, because it is an exact facsimile, will be present upon THIS reproduction.

However, the image has been colour corrected, adjusted and treated and the overall quality is of an exceptional standard...you will NOT be displeased or disappointed.
